At the end of The Terminator (1984), Sarah Connor stops at a gas station in “Mexico”. The gas station is still there at 37229 90th St E, Littlerock, California. This is southeast of Palmdale and Lancaster. You can get there from the San Fernando Valley on the Antelope Valley freeway. It has been significantly remodeled. My photo is from 2014.
