I conceive my travels by planning very unique “emotional” tours, which mean so much to me. In the sometimes feverish search for places and moments that I have awaited and dreamed of for years. For a cinephile film traveler like me, it doesn’t matter how complex or uncomfortable it may be to reach a certain destination, the important thing is to REACH IT! The final emotion, needless to say, is priceless. A little trivia about this scene: * It featured a massive pileup of police cars, setting a record at the time for the most cars crashed in a single film. * The filmmakers used over 60 old police cars purchased for $400 each specifically for the chase and crash scenes. * A special pipe ramp technology, developed in Australia and never before used in a major motion picture, was installed in the street to help flip cars during the crash.
