Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, 1989. Same spot in 2018. These three rocks were not there when the production team arrived at this very spot in the Rambla de Indalecio, in the desert of Tabernas, Almeria, Spain. It is fortunate that they did not leave it as it was and that we can visit it today. 36°58’40.8″N 2°27’08.8″W

Pee-wee Herman gets chased around the Cabazon Dinosaurs site by the waitress Simone’s angry boyfriend Andy in “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” back in 1985, and my photo of that same spot last year just after Pee-wee star Paul Reubens passed away – with Mr. Rex the dinosaur freshly painted up in Pee-wee’s bow tie suit as a beautiful tribute to him.
