Adorable Video Captures a Dog’s Heartwarming Friendship with a Human Baby Brother
The heartwarming film depicts a lasting bond formed when a sweet dog develops a crush on his human little brother.
Whitney Parks, 37, of Boston, said her one-year-old golden retriever Hinckley, who was mistaken for baby Theodore, due in October 2020, was brought home as a new toy to play with.
Hinckley immediately became Theodore’s lifelong friend, napping, cuddling and eating together after realizing that Theodore is here to stay.
Hinckley, a 1-year-old golden retriever, has formed an unbreakable bond with new Boston terrier Theodore Parks (shown).
Whitney, 37, said Hinckley, who had been the center of attention for years, originally assumed Theodore had been brought into the house as a new toy to play with. Theodore is shown with his father Rob and Hinckley.
Whitney claimed that for the first few nights after Theodore returned home, Hinckley would watch him while he slept (shown).
Whitney, who works in communications, noted that Hinckley wants to be involved in everything Theodore does, noting that dogs are truly man’s best friend.
“When we first brought Teddy home, Hinckley thought we got him a new toy just for him,” Whitney explained. I can understand why he would think that after being the focus of our universe for a year.
“For those first several nights, Hinckley would watch Teddy from our bed as he slept in his crib, watching his every move in amazement.
After a few days, Hinckley discovered that the “game” was not his and was not going away. However, from the moment Teddy arrived home, Hinckley became obsessed with him and demanded to be there for all of Teddy’s activities.
“During tummy time, Teddy and Hinckley like to lie on the couch or on the floor.
It took Hinckley a few days to realize that Theodore wasn’t going anywhere, according to Whitney. Hinckley and Baby Theodore are shown.

“Hinckley attends every feeding.” Usually Teddy is on my left, and Hinckley is on my right; It’s a lovely time for the three of us to bond and snuggle.
“Sometimes, when Teddy finishes his bottle, and I’m not paying attention, Hinckley will discreetly walk away with Teddy’s nasty burp towel, and I can’t help but laugh.”
Whitney is happy that Theodore will grow up with a four-footed big brother to protect him.
While feeding, Whitney said, Theodore is usually on her left and Hinckley is on her right because it’s a unique time for them to bond. Hinckley and Baby Theodore are shown.

“Right now, Hinckley isn’t sure who Teddy is, but he knows he’s important and he should keep an eye on him.”
“I look forward to the day when Teddy and Hinckley can share more and become great friends who go on countless adventures.”
