Doune Castle was used for many scenes in the UK show Outlander (2014). I visited in 2023 and they had a special audio tour narrated by Outlander actors. War of the Worlds (2005) starring Tom Cruise and directed by Steven Spielberg. This scene was filmed in Raphine, VA just off I81 at the corner of Brownsburg Turnpike and Decantur Road. The photo was taken in May of 2024.
