Remember this iconic scene from The Blues Brothers(1980)? A little trivia about this scene: * It featured a massive pileup of police cars, setting a record at the time for the most cars crashed in a single film. * The filmmakers used over 60 old police cars purchased for $400 each specifically for the chase and crash scenes. * A special pipe ramp technology, developed in Australia and never before used in a major motion picture, was installed in the street to help flip cars during the crash.
