The ruins of Connor MacLeod’s castle (Christopher Lambert), where he lived with Heather (Beatie Edney) after being exiled from his native village. The castle was destroyed during the fight between The Kurgan (Clancy Brown) and Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez (Sean Connery) – all in Russell Mulcahy’s “Highlander” (1986). In search of these locations, I visited with my family the area around The Meeting of Three Waters in the Scottish Highlands, near Glencoe in 2018. Unfortunately, the castle was built as a set piece solely for the purposes of that movie.

Kindergarten Cop doesn’t get the love that it deserves in Astoria. Astoria is beautiful and many great movies have been filmed here. I live here now and these photos are from 2018.
