(ABC, 1988-1993) 516 University Ave, Burbank, CA My daughter was out selling Girl Scout Cookies near her school when I suddenly recognized the house at which she had just sold some Thin Mints. I knew It was in the area but had never gone looking for it. I always pictured the house on a flat street because they play ball In the street in the opening credits but its actually on a bit of a downslope. And yes, Winnie’s house Is really across the street, a few houses up. Photographed 2019.

A Nightmare on Elm Street, 1984 / 2013 1428 North Genesee Avenue in Los Angeles

One of my favourite movies from the 80s is **”Trading Places”** from **1983** with **Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd**. I watch it at least once a year, usually around Christmas :o) In the first scene Billy Ray Valentine/Eddie Murphy is pretending to be disabled. The cops however know his trick already. The scene was recorded at Rittenhouse square at the corner of S 18th Street and Locust Street in downtown Philadelphia.
