A neighborhood comes together and rescues a dog that was trapped in the water
Accidents happen and this is something we can’t really avoid. However, there is no better way to solve it than to do our best to reverse it or rescue those who need help. Even more so if it is done together, that is, when people come together for the common good. This was the luck of a little dog in Argentina. Well, after he fell into the waters of the waterfront, many people rallied in solidarity and pulled him out of the current that was already carrying him away.
The story is told by Carina, a woman who went out to lunch with her family in traditional carts in Costanera Sur. When suddenly she started hearing screams for help. She didn’t know what the commotion was about, so she went to ask and discovered that a dog had fallen into the water.
But the situation did not stop at just screaming. Well, immediately people came together to perform surgery and were able to create a giant rope to save him. Thanks to food stall owners in the area who provided ropes, they were able to descend and rescue the dog.
“No one stayed still. Everyone from his place helped save his life. My husband was one of the men who pulled the rope. “First, to lift the dog and then to the owner who, without thinking, jumped more than two meters into the water to reach him,” Karina said excitedly.
Although the first scenes were desperate, because the animal was being dragged by the current. Although she soon did not get anything until she was in a visible place. They then quickly began pulling the rope, until both the owner and the dog were able to safely climb to the roof.
“We don’t know why he fell. I could see it was the family pet. He was restrained but not restricted. The dog was loose. We think he ran to catch a dove and fell. A little girl was crying because she was afraid they wouldn’t be able to get him out. Karina concluded her speech by saying: “Fortunately, the ending was happy.” An accident had a happy ending thanks to community help.
