On a sweltering summer day, a store opens its doors to a stray dog so it may cool down.
Life can be very difficult for stray animals. With no home or shelter to go to, they not only have to get their own food and water, but are completely exposed to all weather conditions.
We have heard many accounts of pets suffering in severe weather, and compassionate companies that have opened their doors to keep them warm. But dogs are also prone to extreme heat-and one hot day, a shop decided that it was appropriate to invite a dog inside to cool down.
It was a hot day for 104 dollars in Mexico, and a local stray dog visited a local market, where he had been appearing for the previous several days.
“He has been here for the past few days,”the store employee said, according to Dodo. “We assume that he was left by his owner. He came to us for help.”
“We can only offer him food, water and some toys from the store that we paid with our money.”
But on this hot day, they decided to go further:
Let the dog inside to cool down!
It seems that the dog really appreciated this postponement from the sweltering heat: he was so relieved that he simply flopped right on the floor of the corridor to sleep.
“We let him in because the weather outdoors is just like hell,”said the cashier. “We feel terrible for him, but he seems happy with the store.”
And the goodwill of the Clerks was contagious: a customer named Adolfo Pazzi Ahumada, who was in the store for some milk, decided to buy the dog a treat.
“I was horrified by what the dog went through,”Adolfo told Dudu. “But now he’s getting the affection he deserves.”
Thank you for this store opening its doors to this dog! We know that this simple act of compassion means the world to this wayward.
